Summer is Heating Up
As the summer progresses so does the produce!
As you can see from the pictures the tomatoes are now very large and are filling the space in the tunnel house quite markedly.
They are ripening and with the basil we are now using them in our menu. The buffalo mozzarella is a feature of using our own home grown produce.
The lettuces that Bruce gave us where shared amount our friends and used within the restaurant for meals and picnics for guests who explore the island. The original selection has been replaced and is coming on strong.
We continue to get lovely strawberries but De tends to eat most of them fresh from the garden.
It has definitely been a success and we have really enjoyed showing guests and diners around the gardens in the evenings between courses.
